Price for BMW
BMW Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for BMW cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in October was of R 1 734 714. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at R 1 701 527 during November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from R 1 718 120,5 to R 1 734 376. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from R 1 726 248,25 to R 1 684 181 during February and March.
The average price for BMW has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2019, the average price is R 208 282,95. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 71 172) moving up till (R 658 577)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 253 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 831 376,25) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of R 926 949.
The graph that displays the price for BMW cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 89 % more affordable than the average price (R 1 759 000). Next with a price of R 543 833 and a mileage range of "100 000 - 200 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10 000". It is 24% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10 000 - 25 000" priced at R 1 051 433.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 53 % less expensive than the average market price (R 1 759 000) followed by "Petrol" priced at R 1 065 702. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 39 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of R 828 860.
The graph showing the average price for BMW cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 90 % more affordable than the average price (R 1 759 000). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of R 490 840. Cars with the lowest average price have 5 !doors and are 43 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 4 doors with a selling price of R 715 288.
