Price for Ford
Ford Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for Ford cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. In January the price for a car is R 1 109 770 increasing till R 1 224 364 in February. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from R 1 167 067 to R 1 201 026,5. In the last two, the price has gone through a -11 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from R 1 184 046,75 to R 1 058 421,5 during May and June.
The average price for Ford has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2018, the average price is R 184 874,55. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 36 682) moving up till (R 534 851)in 2018. During the next two years (2019, 2020) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 323 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 7 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 841 981,5) and the the last two years that were studied (2021, 2022) with a price of R 902 319,5.
The graph that displays the price for Ford cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 70 % more affordable than the average price (R 1 026 440). Next with a price of R 502 393 and a mileage range of "100 000 - 200 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10 000". It is 2% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10 000 - 25 000" priced at R 857 666.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Ford cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 24 % less expensive than the average market price (R 1 026 440) followed by "Diesel" priced at R 869 861. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 15 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of R 784 376.
The graph showing the average price for Ford cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 75 % more affordable than the average price (R 1 026 440). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of R 693 540. Cars with the lowest average price have 4 !doors and are 17 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 5 doors with a selling price of R 710 409.
