Hyundai Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Hyundai cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for October is R 1 005 963. During November there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till R 950 779. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from R 978 371 to R 964 632. In the last two, the price has gone through a -13 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from R 971 501,5 to R 844 137,5 during February and March.
The average price for Hyundai has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is R 144 665,45. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 32 543) moving up till (R 369 125)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 395 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -21 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (R 589 878,5) and the the last two years (2023, 2024) with a price of R 463 996,5.

It is 6% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25 000 - 50 000" priced at R 716 774.
