Jeep Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Jeep cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price for September is R 1 050 598. During October there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till R 908 456. The following two months (November, December) the selling price went through a devaluation of -14 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -14 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from R 912 986,25 to R 780 755 during January and February.
The average price for Jeep has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is R 168 262,38. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 107 700) moving up till (R 412 723)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 132 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 42 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 669 550,25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of R 948 911,5.
The graph that displays the price for Jeep cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 79 % more affordable than the average price (R 785 855). Next with a price of R 371 819 and a mileage range of "25 000 - 50 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10 000 - 25 000". It is 23% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10 000" priced at R 577 373.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Jeep cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 69 % less expensive than the average market price (R 785 855) followed by "Petrol" priced at R 641 238. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 18 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of R 240 699.
The graph showing the average price for Jeep cars displays those with 5 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 46 % more affordable than the average price (R 785 855). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of R 511 873. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 20 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
