Jeep Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Jeep cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in July the average price was R 760 423. August went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till R 876 621. During the following two months (September, October) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 16 % from R 818 522 to R 948 948. The average price has risen 8 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (R 953 499) during November and December.
The average price for Jeep has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2017, the average price is R 211 139,84. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 65 479) moving up till (R 390 181)in 2017. During the next two years (2018, 2019) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 172 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 18 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 703 095) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2020, 2021) with a price of R 832 646.
The graph that displays the price for Jeep cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 77 % more affordable than the average price (R 917 711). Next with a price of R 446 078 and a mileage range of "25 000 - 50 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10 000". It is 25% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10 000 - 25 000" priced at R 646 065.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Jeep cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 50 % less expensive than the average market price (R 917 711) followed by "Petrol" priced at R 724 450. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 21 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of R 463 303.
The graph showing the average price for Jeep cars displays those with 2 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 60 % more affordable than the average price (R 917 711). These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of R 433 122. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 52 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
