Land Rover Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Land Rover cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of R 1 810 589. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at R 1 858 163 during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -8 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -14 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from R 1 760 336,25 to R 1 517 072 during February and March.
The average price for Land Rover has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is R 269 680,91. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 62 542) moving up till (R 899 834)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 192 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 19 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 971 196,25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of R 1 154 024,5.
The graph that displays the price for Land Rover cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 87 % more affordable than the average price (R 1 546 787). Next with a price of R 387 053 and a mileage range of "less than 10 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10 000 - 25 000". It is 0% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50 000 - 100 000" priced at R 1 104 704.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Land Rover cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 62 % less expensive than the average market price (R 1 546 787) followed by "Diesel" priced at R 1 103 777. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 29 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of R 580 412.
The graph showing the average price for Land Rover cars displays those with 4 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 88 % more affordable than the average price (R 1 546 787). These are followed by those with 3 doors with an average price of R 931 940. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 21 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
