Land Rover Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Land Rover cars have increased during the last 6 months. In November the price for a car is R 1 962 281 increasing till R 2 128 411 in December. During the following two months (January, February) the average selling price rose somewhat going from R 2 045 346 to R 2 251 231. The average price has risen 8 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (R 2 310 436) during March and April.
The average price for Land Rover has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is R 284 897,66. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 102 544) moving up till (R 919 631)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 333 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 18 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 1 507 324) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of R 1 782 395,5.
The graph that displays the price for Land Rover cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 90 % more affordable than the average price (R 2 332 050). Next with a price of R 563 794 and a mileage range of "100 000 - 200 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10 000". It is 2% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10 000 - 25 000" priced at R 1 286 529.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Land Rover cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 34 % less expensive than the average market price (R 2 332 050) followed by "Petrol" priced at R 2 087 606. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 10 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of R 1 536 272.
The graph showing the average price for Land Rover cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 87 % more affordable than the average price (R 2 332 050). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of R 374 616. Cars with the lowest average price have 5 !doors and are 40 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 4 doors with a selling price of R 471 529.
