Land Rover Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Land Rover cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in July was of R 1 949 730. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at R 1 870 988 during August. During the following two months (September, October) the average selling price rose somewhat going from R 1 910 359 to R 2 091 232. The average price has risen 6 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (R 2 128 900,5) during November and December.
The average price for Land Rover has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2014, the average price is R 247 308,25. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 104 146) moving up till (R 886 097)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 315 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 21 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 1 302 728,75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2017, 2018) with a price of R 1 578 583,5.
The graph that displays the price for Land Rover cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 88 % more affordable than the average price (R 2 081 023). Next with a price of R 499 972 and a mileage range of "100 000 - 200 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10 000". It is 5% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10 000 - 25 000" priced at R 1 406 605.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Land Rover cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 24 % less expensive than the average market price (R 2 081 023) followed by "Diesel" priced at R 1 606 092. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 23 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of R 1 577 084.
The graph showing the average price for Land Rover cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 83 % more affordable than the average price (R 2 081 023). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of R 351 833. Cars with the lowest average price have 5 !doors and are 45 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 4 doors with a selling price of R 385 348.
