Lexus Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for Lexus cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price for October is R 844 152. During November there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till R 744 478. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from R 794 315 to R 798 785,5. The average price has risen 10 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (R 878 449) during February and March.
The average price for Lexus has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is R 238 305,81. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 106 633) moving up till (R 330 087)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 182 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 13 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 775 768,5) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of R 879 253.
The graph that displays the price for Lexus cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 88 % more affordable than the average price (R 853 532). Next with a price of R 201 061 and a mileage range of "100 000 - 200 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10 000 - 25 000". It is 21% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10 000" priced at R 596 373.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Lexus cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 30 % less expensive than the average market price (R 853 532) followed by "Diesel" priced at R 1 300 677. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 52 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs R 593 868.
The graph showing the average price for Lexus cars displays those with 4 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 51 % more affordable than the average price (R 853 532). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of R 482 488. Cars with the the highest price have 5 doors and are 2 % more expensive than the average mentioned before.
