Nissan Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Nissan cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In September the average price per vehicle is R 971 726. During October the price went trough a strong deflation till R 799 411. The following two months (November, December) the selling price went through a devaluation of -8 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from R 850 507,75 to R 818 814,5 during January and February.
The average price for Nissan has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is R 115 215,41. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 40 141) moving up till (R 293 623)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 316 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 9 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 526 667,5) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of R 574 439.
The graph that displays the price for Nissan cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 80 % more affordable than the average price (R 831 638). Next with a price of R 340 019 and a mileage range of "100 000 - 200 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10 000". It is 15% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25 000 - 50 000" priced at R 506 376.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Nissan cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 30 % less expensive than the average market price (R 831 638) followed by "Diesel" priced at R 660 738. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 21 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of R 580 527.
The graph showing the average price for Nissan cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 66 % more affordable than the average price (R 831 638). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of R 290 410. Cars with the lowest average price have 4 !doors and are 21 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 5 doors with a selling price of R 554 728.
