Price for Opel
Opel Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Opel cars have increased during the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is R 313 938 increasing till R 357 840 in November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from R 335 889 to R 346 271. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from R 341 080 to R 340 472 during February and March.
The average price for Opel has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is R 85 644,13. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 31 926) moving up till (R 231 630)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 210 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 15 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 313 236,5) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of R 360 920.

They are 79 % more affordable than the average price (R 339 629). Next with a price of R 166 572 and a mileage range of "100 000 - 200 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "25 000 - 50 000". It is 16% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10 000 - 25 000" priced at R 232 681.

It is 15 % less expensive than the average market price (R 339 629) followed by "Diesel" priced at R 376 307. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 11 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs R 287 811.

These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of R 81 413. Cars with the lowest average price have 5 !doors and are 12 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 3 doors with a selling price of R 112 525.
