Renault Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Renault cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in January was of R 430 363. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at R 450 611 during February. During the following two months (March, April) the average selling price rose somewhat going from R 440 487 to R 475 263. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from R 457 875 to R 441 250 during May and June.
The average price for Renault has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is R 84 140,45. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 29 400) moving up till (R 209 548)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 181 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 19 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 290 623,25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of R 344 548,5.
The graph that displays the price for Renault cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 85 % more affordable than the average price (R 413 516). Next with a price of R 168 690 and a mileage range of "100 000 - 200 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10 000". It is 6% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10 000 - 25 000" priced at R 276 976.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Renault cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 22 % less expensive than the average market price (R 413 516) followed by "Petrol" priced at R 380 561. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 8 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of R 320 763.
The graph showing the average price for Renault cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 71 % more affordable than the average price (R 413 516). These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of R 150 640. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 41 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
