Toyota Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of R 1 911 054. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at R 1 831 798 during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -6 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -8 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from R 1 815 943,25 to R 1 663 838 during February and March.
The average price for Toyota has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is R 258 552,36. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 82 426) moving up till (R 672 767)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 243 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 10 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 987 393,25) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of R 1 087 179,5.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 70 % more affordable than the average price (R 1 657 015). Next with a price of R 785 518 and a mileage range of "100 000 - 200 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10 000". It is 18% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10 000 - 25 000" priced at R 1 048 036.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota cars points out to "Hybrid" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 72 % less expensive than the average market price (R 1 657 015) followed by "Petrol" priced at R 717 733. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 20 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of R 717 733.
The graph showing the average price for Toyota cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 73 % more affordable than the average price (R 1 657 015). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of R 666 997. Cars with the lowest average price have 5 !doors and are 18 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 4 doors with a selling price of R 895 045.
