Volvo Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for Volvo cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in September was of R 1 293 898. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at R 1 310 173 during October. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from R 1 302 035,5 to R 1 301 138,5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from R 1 301 587 to R 1 304 134 during January and February.
The average price for Volvo has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is R 151 519,7. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 33 150) moving up till (R 460 780)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 389 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 23 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 956 815,75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of R 1 172 585,5.

It is 5% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10 000 - 25 000" priced at R 1 099 100.
