BMW 1 Series Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for BMW 1 Series cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is R 447 328 increasing till R 473 632 in November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -6 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -10 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from R 446 325,25 to R 403 369,5 during February and March.
The average price for BMW 1 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2005 and 2019, the average price is R 141 811,8. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2005 (R 66 000) moving up till (R 257 192)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 164 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -10 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (R 338 989,75) and the the last two years analyzed (2022, 2023) with a price of R 304 272,5.
