BMW 4 Series Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for BMW 4 Series cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in December was of R 511 325. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at R 488 929 during January. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from R 500 127 to R 493 795. The average price has risen 7 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (R 532 493,5) during April and May.
The average price for BMW 4 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2013 and 2017, the average price is R 373 658,81. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2013 (R 330 224) moving up till (R 400 190)in 2017. During the next two years (2018, 2019) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 51 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 35 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 872 322,75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2020, 2021) with a price of R 1 179 171,5.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 4 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 71 % more affordable than the average price (R 551 003). Next with a price of R 330 998 and a mileage range of "100 000 - 200 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10 000". It is 38% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "10 000 - 25 000" and a price of R 528 964.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 4 Series cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 23 % less expensive than the average market price (R 551 003) followed by "Petrol" priced at R 473 743. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 14 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of R 421 847.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that BMW 4 Series automobiles with the cheapest price have 4 doors. They are 19 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at R 444 942. Cars with the lowest price have 2 doors and are 16 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
