Price for Ford Escort
Ford Escort Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Ford Escort cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In October the average price per vehicle is R 111 876. During November the price went trough a strong deflation till R 94 625. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -20 % compared to the previous two months studied. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from R 93 182,5 to R 90 280 during February and March.
The average price for Ford Escort has had a strong rise in recent years. During "before 2000" and "before 2000", the average price was R 28 375. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years (2014, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 467 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -16 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (R 138 929,25) and the the last two years (2018, 2020) with a price of R 116 975.

They are 37 % more affordable than the average price (R 85 998). Next with a price of R 77 125 and a mileage range of "less than 10 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "100 000 - 200 000". It is 11% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10 000" and a price of R 77 125.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Ford Escort cars marks "Diesel" as the most costly fuel type. It is 29 % more expensive than the average market price (R 85 998) followed by "Petrol" priced at R 133 250. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 55 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs R 110 750.
