The selling price for Lexus IS cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. In November the average price per vehicle is R 186 850. During December the price went trough a strong deflation till R 136 615. The following two months (January, February) the selling price went through a devaluation of -6 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. The average price has had spectacular rise of 34 % with an average price of R 156 694,5 during the previous 4 months and R 210 482,5 during the most recent months in March and April.
The average price for Lexus IS has had a strong rise in recent years. During 2000 and 2000, the average price was R 130 000. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -34 % compared to the previous period.
