Mercedes Benz c-class Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Mercedes Benz c-class cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in March was of R 946 351. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at R 956 570 during April. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from R 951 460,5 to R 913 802. In the last two, the price has gone through a -9 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from R 932 631,25 to R 852 975,5 during July and August.
The average price for Mercedes Benz c-class has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is R 143 035,17. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 41 008) moving up till (R 398 063)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 221 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 17 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 552 505,25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of R 646 437.
