Mercedes Benz c-class Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Mercedes Benz c-class cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In September the average price per vehicle is R 654 815. During October the price went trough a strong deflation till R 550 721. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -16 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two, the price has gone through a -8 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from R 555 623 to R 513 860 during January and February.
The average price for Mercedes Benz c-class has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2019, the average price is R 129 972,52. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 35 062) moving up till (R 327 102)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 160 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 7 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 365 322) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of R 392 414,5.
The graph that displays the price for Mercedes Benz c-class cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 83 % more affordable than the average price (R 514 106). Next with a price of R 117 182 and a mileage range of "less than 10 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "25 000 - 50 000". It is 8% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "50 000 - 100 000" and a price of R 471 945.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Mercedes Benz c-class cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 55 % less expensive than the average market price (R 514 106) followed by "Petrol" priced at R 462 716. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 10 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of R 233 419.

They are 2 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at R 502 909. Cars with the the highest price have 2 doors and are 12 % more expensive than the average mentioned before.
