Renault 5 Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Renault 5 cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was R 63 667. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till R 148 190. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 61 % from R 105 928,5 to R 170 939. The average price has risen 13 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (R 156 641,5) during February and March.
The graph that displays the price for Renault 5 cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "less than 10 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 18 % more affordable than the average price (R 145 625). Next with a price of R 153 750 and a mileage range of "50 000 - 100 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "50 000 - 100 000". It is 6% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10 000" and a price of R 120 000.
