Volvo XC90 Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Volvo XC90 cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in October was of R 914 989. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at R 894 776 during November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from R 904 882,5 to R 983 704,5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from R 944 293,5 to R 985 067,5 during February and March.
The average price for Volvo XC90 has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2004 and 2019, the average price is R 382 215,16. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2004 (R 60 000) moving up till (R 664 628)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 150 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 21 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 1 204 393,5) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of R 1 453 857.
