Fiat Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Fiat cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in June the average price was R 225 206. July went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till R 264 594. During the following two months (August, September) the average selling price rose somewhat going from R 244 900 to R 272 615,5. The average price has risen 14 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (R 293 988,5) during October and November.
The average price for Fiat has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is R 73 411,05. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 28 700) moving up till (R 142 632)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 194 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 21 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 273 092,25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of R 330 223.
The graph that displays the price for Fiat cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 88 % more affordable than the average price (R 301 827). Next with a price of R 119 507 and a mileage range of "100 000 - 200 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10 000". It is 20% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10 000 - 25 000" priced at R 211 567.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Fiat cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 22 % less expensive than the average market price (R 301 827) followed by "Diesel" priced at R 341 964. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 13 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs R 234 842.
The graph showing the average price for Fiat cars displays those with 2 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 68 % more affordable than the average price (R 301 827). These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of R 212 006. Cars with the lowest average price have 3 !doors and are 5 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 5 doors with a selling price of R 272 610.
