Price for Ford Focus
Ford Focus Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Ford Focus cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In November the price for a car is R 333 169 increasing till R 358 181 in December. During the following two months (January, February) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 21 % from R 345 675 to R 416 711. The average price has risen 10 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (R 421 097,5) during March and April.
The average price for Ford Focus has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2001 and 2014, the average price is R 95 701,84. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2001 (R 34 300) moving up till (R 198 734)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 112 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 6 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 215 852,5) and the the last two years that were studied (2017, 2018) with a price of R 228 846.
The graph that displays the price for Ford Focus cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200 000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 81 % more affordable than the average price (R 410 423). Next with a price of R 222 098 and a mileage range of "less than 10 000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "50 000 - 100 000". It is 30% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25 000 - 50 000" priced at R 282 698.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Ford Focus cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 70 % less expensive than the average market price (R 410 423) followed by "Petrol" priced at R 290 766. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 29 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of R 124 285.
The graph showing the average price for Ford Focus cars displays those with 4 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 63 % more affordable than the average price (R 410 423). These are followed by those with 3 doors with an average price of R 187 961. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 43 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
