Mercedes Benz c class Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Mercedes Benz c class cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In February the price for a car is R 650 345 increasing till R 741 502 in March. During the following two months (April, May) the average selling price rose somewhat going from R 695 923,5 to R 757 961. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from R 726 942,25 to R 743 386,5 during June and July.
The average price for Mercedes Benz c class has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2017, the average price is R 152 292,05. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (R 44 423) moving up till (R 445 669)in 2017. During the next two years (2018, 2019) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 245 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 24 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (R 687 543) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2020, 2022) with a price of R 849 931,5.
